Don Aittama Photography features two photographers, Don Aittama and his wife Julie. They have been married for over 30 years. Don and Julie have two daughters and one grandson.
They started their wedding photography business in 2005 and since then have photographed over 75 weddings.
Don started working with photography in junior high school and quickly picked up a passion for photography. Don is a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the Virginia Professional Photographers Association, and the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation. Don is also a Certified Professional Photographer with a specialty in wedding photography. Don has worked as an accountant for over 25 years, giving him a strong background in business and computers. Don also has a passion for music and has been a member of the Charlottesville Municipal Band for over 20 years. Julie is a member of the Virginia Professional Photographers Association. She has a degree in art and teaches art in the Shenandoah County School System. Julie also has some experience designing and making wedding gowns. |
